The Banknorth Building (Formerly SIS Center)
At Springfield's Banknorth Building, Dietz & Company Architects planned the conversion of the first floor retail space into an upscale indoor office park. Through a series of projects, the new scheme provided office and conference space for Springfield's Economic Development Offices, BankNorth and Colebrook Realty. The existing atrium with its natural light and mezzanine maintained a visual connection by providing a building within a building. Colebrook Realty's Office built a solution on unconventional lines without losing sight of the practical. |
