Northampton Housing Authority (Northampton, MA)
Dietz & Company Architects is working with the Northampton Housing Authority to develop and build 10 new units of special needs housing on a 1.72 acre site. These units will be contained in two fully accessible buildings, each with four bedrooms and an attached in-law apartment. Designed in accordance with DDS and DHCD guidelines, the result will be housing that promotes both independence and supportive community living. Additionally, the goal is to design within the local vernacular and provide for cost effective, energy efficient units that are as green as possible given budget constraints.
