Dietz & Company Architects' renovations to the 6,700 square foot Radiation Therapy Center included a bistro attached to an expanded waiting room where patients can help themselves to coffee or tea and watch TV while awaiting appointments. Other amenities include a private reception area, new examination rooms and staff offices. A brighter, more comfortable area that is infused with natural lighting now greets patients. The successful transformation of a basement location into an attractive and welcoming space improves both patient care and public image for this busy, community-based hospital.
