New Entry and Egress Stairs
Smith College Dewey House (Northampton, MA)
Careful renovations were needed to bring this 19th century building - the oldest Smith College classroom building - into compliance with current accessibility regulations and to accommodate other changes. The project presented unique challenges in terms of internal floor levels, code compliance and integration of new elements into the building's historic context.
