The Orchard at Cold Spring Commons (Belchertown, MA)
Home ownership in a neighborhood setting produced 14 units of affordable housing in seven duplex buildings for this partially wooded rural site. Each unit is designed to project its own unique personality, while maintaining strong connections through their basic farmhouse-style designs. Together, each of the two attached units work to form a building scaled to the size of a single-family home.
