East Mountain View Apartments (Westfield, MA)
This renovation converted a former nurse's dormitory into 46 units of elderly housing. Dietz & Company Architects assisted the client with creating a project vision, designing the renovation and navigating through the comprehensive permit process and requirements of federal and state funding agencies. With a focus on community spaces, we incorporated nooks and crannies for interaction within an unusual existing geometry. Attentive planning, indoors and out, celebrates multiple opportunities for light and views.
