implementation
Because technology, building codes and other regulations are continuously changing, design and construction have grown more complicated than ever before—requiring multi-faceted expertise to move just about any project forward. That's why one of our key roles is to help manage the tangle of code and regulatory issues that regularly come up.
And the larger the project, the greater the complexity. In some cases, a single project can draw funding from 10 different sources, each tied to particular—and sometimes conflicting—requirements and approval processes. It's our experience and know-how that make it possible to tease apart the issues and keep our projects moving. Throughout the process, we're also actively orchestrating the work of our various consultants, ensuring the development of a cohesive design and comprehensive documents.
As architects, we're trained to visualize and imagine what a particular space will feel like. For our clients, we use technology to get them on board with the vision. Our state-of-the-art software enables us to create three-dimensional spaces that can be viewed and "experienced" through virtual tours.
So, exactly what is the clients' role, and what should they expect of their architect? Of their builder? We believe that the more our clients understand about the building experience up front, the more confident they'll feel throughout the entire process.
